Oh my goodness. I never would have lumped Luna Lovegood in with Claudia, simply because Claudia is intentionally fabulous and I think Luna maybe stumbles into it by accident. I could definitely picture Claude wearing those earrings, though.
Radish earrings. This makes me think of the scene in the TV episode of "Claudia and the Mystery of the Secret Passage" in which Dawn picks up two carrots and places them to her ears, joking that they are "Claudia's earrings!" Probably everyone should hang root vegetables from their ears.
Dumbest comment ever. There are tons of BSC summary blogs, but this one specifically focuses on the fashion within, especially Claudia's. We all wish we'd thought of it first. Lose the bloody PHD.
Combining two of my life's all time guilty pleasures--The Babysitter's Club and Harry Potter. Thanks Kim! P.S Personally, I think Luna is just as intentional about her outfits as Claudia.
i just found you via jezebel via spending too much time on the internets. but this, this is all just too wonderful. thank you. i can't help but wonder how many creative decisions at h&m, urban, fred flare, etc. are made via ann m. martin subconscious memory associations....

ReplyDeleteIt's true. It is just so true.

ReplyDeleteYou know, I truly believe that Bai Ling might be Claudia's pop culture equiv. I'm pretty sure you can make us a post out of that. ;)
