Okay, I thought I remembered a book called Boy Crazy Stacey, and I found http://www.amazon.com/Boy-Crazy-Stacey-Baby-Sitters-Club-8/dp/0590251635/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239220902&sr=1-18#reader
daaaaamn, that girl's got a one track mind! I'd almost forgotten.
You are brilliant, by the way. Thank you for sharing your insights and wit with a world that greatly benefits from such intelligence, and nostalgia.
Oh my goodness, I just came across your blog, and I'm definitely following you. I used to read these books all the time when I was younger; honestly, everyday. And I would finish a book each day, and read them in order. I was subscribed to them and would recieve the next four books every month or so. I couldn't wait for those days. I'm sure I still have these books somewhere in my house.. probably in a box from when we last moved. I will have to dig them out and take them with me when I move out.
I always wanted to dress like Claudia and write like Stacey. Eeep, I can't wait to read more posts!
Woot! Hipster paradise, that sweater.
ReplyDeletei have an old anheiser busch sweater from a thrift store (product of growing up near the brewery, i guess) but that PBR one is way beyond awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI hate when the hipster/redneck styles collide.
